How to use key features

Smart task automation

  • Tap a suggestion on the home page (e.g., “Add today’s bestselling book to my cart”).

  • Comet will navigate, search, and complete the task automatically. Blue edges indicate when AI is in control.

  • Tap the assist button to review step-by-step actions Comet took for full transparency.

Voice-powered searching and actions

  • Tap the search bar, then use your keyboard’s microphone to speak your request, such as:

    • “Give me recommendations for the best Android phone to buy.”

    • “Find me the best deal on a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra that’s in stock and add it to my cart.”

  • Comet reviews multiple sites, compares prices, and can take you right to checkout.

Automatically find and apply promo codes

  • At any checkout page, tap the search bar and say, “Find promo codes for this page and test them to make sure they work.”

  • Comet will fetch, test, and auto-apply valid codes—no manual searching needed.

YouTube integration

  • Search across YouTube by voice (e.g., “Play the exact moment Neil Armstrong says ‘One Small Step for Man’”).

  • Get direct links to timestamps and summaries, or extract a video’s thumbnail URL for download.

Summarizing web content

  • On any page, use the assistant to ask for a summary (e.g., “Summarize the product reviews” or “Summarize this article and give me the specs”).

  • For recipe pages, simply say, “Get me the recipe” to pull out ingredients and instructions instantly.

Tab management by command

  • Tap the tab icon, open the search bar, and say, “Delete all tabs older than 30 minutes” to instantly clean up your browsing session.

Controls, privacy, and limits

  • Comet completes web tasks for you but only while you keep the app open (background work is not supported yet).

  • Uses local device storage to protect your browsing data and activity.

  • Sometimes, it may not be obvious when an automated action is complete—check the on-screen progress or opened pages.

  • If a promo code or product is unavailable, Comet can’t fabricate results, but it will still report its findings honestly.
