How it works
Passwords are encrypted and saved inside your operating system’s secure vault
(Keychain on macOS or Credential Manager on Windows).Comet never uploads or shares your saved passwords.
Autofill works automatically when you visit a site you’ve saved credentials for.

Add or edit passwords manually: Go to
comet://password-manager/passwordsand click Add.Local encryption: Your passwords stay protected by your system’s security (Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, or system password).

How to use the Password Manager
When signing up or logging into a site, Comet will offer to save your password.
To view or manage saved logins, open:
Settings → Autofill and passwords → Password Manager
or visitcomet://password-manager/passwords.Use Search to quickly find accounts or update credentials.
Click Add to manually create a new entry.
Tips for better password security
Use unique, strong passwords for every site.
Review and remove credentials you no longer use.
Keep your device’s login protected by a strong password or biometrics.
If you use multiple devices, export and import passwords manually when needed.
