Operating System Requirements
Comet Browser is currently available for desktop computers running one of the following operating systems:
Supported systems:
Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit x64 and ARM64 versions; Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and Win32 are not supported)
macOS 13 (Ventura) or macOS 14 (Sonoma) and later (Intel and Apple Silicon)
Minimum system requirements
To run Comet smoothly, your computer should meet or exceed the following specifications:
Processor: Intel or AMD 64-bit processor, or Apple Silicon (dual-core or better)
Memory: 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended)
Disk space: At least 2 GB free for installation (5–6 GB recommended for long-term use and smooth performance)
Display: 1280×800 resolution or higher
Internet connection: Required for installation, updates, and online features
Keeping your operating system and graphics drivers up to date helps ensure optimal performance.
Not currently supported
Comet Browser is not officially supported on:
Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, Mint, Red Hat, etc.)
ChromeOS (Chromebooks)
iOS and Android devices
Windows versions prior to Windows 10
Other systems such as BSD, Solaris, HarmonyOS, KaiOS, etc.
