Third-Party Models & Terms
Last updated: November 25th, 2025
Perplexity leverages advanced language models from third-party providers. This page provides important information about the identity, capabilities, and role of each third-party model we integrate into our platform. Prior to integrating any third-party model, Perplexity conducts thorough evaluation of their performance, safety measures, and alignment with our commitment to providing accurate, helpful, and responsible AI-powered search experience.
Please note: depending on your plan (e.g., free, pro), specific query and settings, the Services may use some, all or none of the below models. To the extent you do not have access to a model listed below or it is not used in connection with a particular query, that model’s terms do not apply to you or your particular query (as applicable).
