How do I uninstall the Comet browser on Windows?

  • Open the Settings app (press Windows Key + I).

  • Go to Apps > Installed apps (or Apps & Features on some versions).

  • Find Comet in the list.

  • Click it and select Uninstall. Follow the prompts to complete the process.

I don’t see Comet in my Apps list. Where else can I look?

  • Open Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program.

  • Look for Comet in the list and uninstall from there.

Are there leftover files I should remove after uninstalling?
While the built-in uninstaller removes the app, some settings or cache data might remain.

Note: This step is not required for most users and is optional.

  • Open File Explorer and go to %localappdata% or %appdata%.
