Perplexity Enterprise Comet-Specific Terms

These Comet-Specific Terms (“Comet Terms”) are supplemental to and governed by the Perplexity Enterprise Terms and Conditions (the “Enterprise Terms”). Except as expressly modified herein, all terms and conditions of the Enterprise Terms apply to Customer’s use of Perplexity’s services.

The provisions below apply solely to Customer’s use of the Comet feature within Perplexity (the “Comet Enterprise Service” or “Comet”) and do not govern any other Perplexity services or features. To the extent of any conflict or inconsistency between these Comet Terms and the Enterprise Terms, these Comet Terms control only with respect to Customer’s use of Comet. These Comet Terms are hereby incorporated into and form a supplemental part of the Enterprise Terms and Conditions; provided, however, that to the extent these Comet Terms directly conflict with the Enterprise Terms, these product-specific terms shall supersede the Enterprise Terms solely with respect to the Comet product.

COMET-SPECIFIC TERMS.

(a) Applicability. The following provisions of this provision apply solely to the extent Customer uses the Comet Enterprise Service (“Comet”), and solely to Customer’s use of Comet.

(b) Browser Functionality. Comet’s browser functionality is governed by the terms available at https://perplexity.coolkeypoint.com/hub/legal/comet-terms-of-service (the “Enterprise Browser Terms”). Those terms form a separate agreement between Customer and Perplexity and are not part of this Agreement. “Browser Functionality” means Comet’s standard web-browsing features, including the ability to enter URLs, access and interact directly with websites, and use typical browser tools such as tabs, bookmarks, and browsing history. It also includes any other browsing-related features not expressly described elsewhere in these Comet Terms. For clarity, this Agreement does not apply to the Browser Functionality (though it does apply to the Agentic Features accessed through or operating within Comet, as set forth in the Autonomous Agentic Functionality Terms). Accordingly, any data submitted through the Browser Functionality (for example, a URL entered into the address bar) is not considered Input, and any webpages, content, or other information accessed through the Browser Functionality is not considered Output.

(c) Perplexity Account and Answer Engine Functionality. Comet allows users to log into their Enterprise Pro or Enterprise Max accounts (as applicable) through its interface and to access the related natural language question-and-answer functionality powered by the Enterprise Pro or Enterprise Max (as applicable) answer engine. All Inputs submitted to, and Outputs generated by, the Enterprise Pro or Enterprise Max (as applicable) answer engine through Comet are governed by this Agreement and not by the Enterprise Browser Terms.

(d) Agentic Functionality within Comet. To the extent Customer uses Agentic Features (as defined in the Autonomous Agentic Functionality Terms) through or within Comet, such use is governed by the Autonomous Agentic Functionality Terms in addition to these Comet Terms. In the event of a conflict between these Comet Terms and the Autonomous Agentic Functionality Terms with respect to Agentic Features accessed through Comet, the Autonomous Agentic Functionality Terms control.
