How to use Computer analytics

Computer analytics shows how Perplexity Computer is being used across your organisation. You can see where the work is landing and where credits are going.

Admins see the whole organisation, and every member sees their own usage. The picture updates once a day, so the most complete view is always the day before.

Admins open the organisation dashboard from Organisation settings, under Analytics, then Computer. A daily credit usage chart makes spikes and trends easy to spot. A leaderboard shows the top users in the organisation. That view is useful for finding power users, spotting internal champions, and lining up case studies that show how Computer earned its keep on a specific workflow.

Below the leaderboard, breakdowns cover artefacts generated, top connectors, top skills, top projects, and average task duration. Filter across the past 7, 30, or 90 days, or group credit usage by model to see how the mix shifts across Claude Opus, Claude Fable, GPT, and the rest. Every panel on the dashboard can be exported for a finance review, a stakeholder deck, or your own analysis.

Members see the same shape of data for their own usage in the personal Analytics view in account settings. Members cannot see other members' usage. Only admins see organisation-wide data. The personal view is the fastest way for a member to check which tools, skills, and projects their credits went to over the last week or month.

Enterprise organisations can pull the same data through the Computer Analytics API, and API calls do not consume credits. An admin generates an organisation-scoped, analytics-only key in Organisation settings, under Computer, then Analytics. The endpoint returns credits, connectors, artefacts, skills, projects, workflows, and task durations as a bucketed time series.

Daily credits, top connectors, and average task duration can flow into Snowflake, Hex, Metabase, a spreadsheet, or a finance system. The dashboard shows what happened. The API brings that same picture into the tools where planning already lives.
