Perplexity Finance in India

Across desktop, mobile web, and mobile apps, all Perplexity users now have access to Indian market data on Perplexity Finance. Features available now include:

Synthesis of Indian markets & latest news
Live stock prices for BSE & NSE equities, including on queries like “reliance stock”
Bull case & bear case across key issues
Explanations of notable price movement
Historical data downloads
Financials (including Excel model downloads)
Live earnings (some BSE & NSE equities supported, more coming in the next few days).

Users in India will be defaulted to a view of Indian markets, but anyone can use this toggle to switch markets

More features are coming soon for Indian markets, like natural-language stock screening and price alerts.

Video Generation

Bring your ideas to life with video generation. Pro and Max users can now create 8 second videos with audio on web, iOS and Android, unlocking a powerful new tool for ideation and productivity.

Ideation. Combined with Labs, video generation can help you explore and visualise divergent creative directions, then package them as a mini-site to share with others. (Example: 3 brand concepts for a new cold brew product)

Productivity

Transform an uploaded photo into an immersive video, then use Comet Assistant to post it to social media for you. (Example: Make a property flyover video and post it to LinkedIn)

Video generation currently utilises the Veo 3 (for Max) and Veo 3 Fast (for Pro) models by default. Max and Pro subscribers start with 15 and 5 video generation credits each month, respectively.
