# Can Perplexity generate images?

> Yes, Perplexity Pro subscribers can generate images by describing them in a prompt. See example prompts and how to pick the image model in settings.

<p>Great question! Yes, Perplexity Pro subscribers can generate images directly within the platform.</p>

<p>Instead of a specific button, you can simply ask Perplexity to create an image by describing what you want in your prompt.</p>

<p>Here are a couple of examples:</p>

<ul>

    <p>"Generate an image of a futuristic cityscape at sunset."</p>
  </li>

  <li>
    <p>"Create a photorealistic image of a golden retriever puppy playing in a field of flowers."</p>
  </li>
</ul>

<p>We'll let you know if an image request can't be completed due to content restrictions.</p>

<p><b>Pro Tip:</b> You can also choose which AI model generates your images by going to your settings page.</p>

<p>These are our available models:</p>

    <p><b>Default:</b> Selects the best model for your needs.</p>
  </li>

  <li>
    <p><b>GPT Image 1:</b> Advanced images from OpenAI.</p>
  </li>

  <li>
    <p><b>Nano Banana</b>: Google-powered visual creation (Max and Enterprise Max users get access to Nano Banana Pro)</p>
  </li>

  <li>
    <p><b>Seedream 4.5:</b> Latest Bytedance design engine.</p>
  </li>
</ul>
