<p>Visit the <a href="https://console.perplexity.ai/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">API Console</a>. There, you can view and add credits, generate API keys, and monitor your usage patterns.</p>

<h2 id="h_944fe9569b">How do I generate and use API keys?</h2>

<ul>

    <p>Go to the <a href="https://console.perplexity.ai/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">API Console</a>.</p>
  </li>

  <li>
    <p>Add a payment method in the "Billing" tab.</p>
  </li>

  <li>
    <p>Click "Buy more credits."</p>
  </li>

  <li>
    <p>Go to the "API Keys" tab and click "Generate API Key."</p>
  </li>

  <li>
    <p>Copy the generated key and use it in your API requests.</p>
  </li>
