# Log in to Perplexity

<h2 id="h_bd9f485ba7">How do I log in to Perplexity?</h2>

<p>If you skipped signing in during setup, you can do it anytime — right from your new tab.</p>

<p>There are two ways to sign in:</p>

<ul>
  <li>
    <p>Click <b>Sign in</b> in the bottom-left corner of the new tab</p>
  </li>

  <li>
    <p>Or use the <b>sign-in panel</b> on the right side when it appears</p>
  </li>
</ul>

<p>From there, you can choose <b>Continue with Google</b>, <b>Continue with Apple</b>, or sign in with your email.</p>

<p>Once you’re logged in, your search history and Pro features (like advanced AI search) will be unlocked automatically.</p>

<p>You don’t need a Perplexity account to use Comet — but signing in gives you a more personalized and connected experience across devices.</p>
