# Extensions

<h2 id="h_8cd27d657a">Can I use extensions in Comet Browser?</h2>

<p>Yes! Comet Browser is built on Chromium, so it is compatible with most extensions available on the Chrome Web Store.</p>

<h2 id="h_52e161d3e8">How do I install an extension in Comet?</h2>

<p>1. Open the <a href="https://chromewebstore.google.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Chrome Web Store</a> in your Comet Browser.<br />2. Browse or search for the extension you want.<br />3. Click on the extension, then click the <b>Add to Comet</b> button.</p>

<h2 id="h_2e57d76622">How do I manage or remove installed extensions?</h2>

    <p>Go to <b>Settings → Extensions</b> or simply type <code>chrome://extensions</code> in the address bar.</p>

    <p>Review all installed extensions in the list.</p>

    <p>Use the toggle switch to enable or disable extensions as needed.</p>
  </li>

  <li>
    <p>Click the <b>Remove</b> button to uninstall an extension.</p>

<p>Yes. After installing an extension, click the puzzle icon and find your extension in the list. Click the 3-dot menu to access extension settings.</p>
