Your Responsibility
When using this Study Hub, you are responsible for the content you upload, paste, or generate. Only share material that is your own work or that you have the right to use and share (for example, your own notes, assignments, or public-domain content).
What You May Not Share
Do not use this Study Hub to:
- Post or request full textbooks, workbooks, or publisher materials.
- Share exam questions, answer keys, or test banks that are not your own.
- Upload instructor materials, solution manuals, or other course content that you are not authorised to distribute.
Respect for Intellectual Property
Perplexity respects intellectual property rights and expects students to do the same. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, it’s safest not to share it.
Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA)
If you believe content in this Study Hub infringes your copyright, you can submit a formal notice to our copyright agent under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). To file a valid notice, you must provide:
- Identification of the copyrighted work that is claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material (including where it appears in the Service).
- Your contact information (address, phone number, and email).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, Perplexity will review it and may remove or disable access to the reported content. A user who believes their content was removed in error may submit a counter-notification under the DMCA; if we receive a valid counter-notification, we may reinstate the content in our sole discretion.
Enforcement
Perplexity may remove content at any time and may disable or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly or seriously infringe copyrights or other intellectual property rights.
